Point Loma Girls Still Lead Poll
SAN DIEGO — Point Loma High School, which edged Madison Friday, 51-47, remains atop The Times’ San Diego County girls’ high school basketball top 10.
Point Loma (18-1) won despite 25 points from Kathy Weathers of Madison (9-5), which dropped one place to No. 6.
San Pasqual, which leads the Avocado League with a 6-0 record, moved up two spots to fourth.
Patrick Henry (9-4), which got 37 points from center Sue Hawke Friday night in a 72-41 victory over Mira Mesa, moved into the top 10 at No. 10. Patrick Henry plays at Point Loma today at 3.
