Bill France Jr., president of NASCAR, said that a drug-testing program for drivers in the Winston Cup stock car series will be done this season. Testing will be done, he said, where there is “reasonable suspicion.â€
“I don’t think we have a problem at this time, but I can’t see any reason why we would be immune,†he said. “Drugs are becoming more prevalent in this society.â€
