Kings Play Last-Place Nordiques

QUEBEC CITY, Canada — The Kings, who by winning three of their last four games have moved into a fourth-place tie with the Vancouver Canucks in the Smythe Division, will play the Quebec Nordiques tonight at the Colisee.
The Nordiques, who are last place in the Adams Division with a 20-23-3 record, outshot the Montreal Canadiens, 34-27, Sunday night, but still lost their second straight game, 5-3.
The Kings (17-29-5) beat the Nordiques, 8-7, Nov. 14 at the Forum.
