Culver City : Aide Gets County Transit Post
Don Rogers, manager of the community and social services division of Culver City’s Human Services Department, has been elected chairman of the Para-Transit and Operations Subcommittee of the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission.
The subcommittee analyzes and recommends legislative and other action in such areas as the providing of door-to-door transportation for the elderly and handicapped in the county, and it also monitors federal and state laws that affect such county programs.
Rogers, 46, has been manager of the Community and Social Services Division for the last 13 years. A former minister, he is a doctoral candidate at the USC School of Gerontology.
