Culver City : City Hall Growth Guidelines
- Share via
The City Council on Monday night approved guidelines for future growth allowances in the plans for a new city hall.
The guidelines, which will help determine how large the city hall will be and its capacity for handling a growth in staff, are: 255 square feet of space per employee, a projected 25% increase in staff over the lifetime of the building, and the inclusion of space for Culver City Unified School District Offices.
The 185 square feet per employee in the present city hall needs to be increased because of larger public spaces in the new building, such as an information counter area and a foyer, as well as a greater number of conference rooms.
