Last-Second Free Throws Sink Valley, 67-65

Eric King made two free throws with one second to play as San Bernardino Valley College held on to defeat Valley, 67-65, in a Southern California Conference men’s basketball game Wednesday night at Valley.
Trailing by 12 points with four minutes remaining, Valley (7-15, 4-1) rallied and tied the score with 20 seconds left on two free throws by Steve Ward, who finished with a game-high 22 points.
Oral Elrington had 20 points for Valley and teammate David Weiss added 14.
