McKay Elected to Hall of Fame

LARCHMONT, N.Y. — Former USC coach John McKay, the winningest football coach in the school’s history, was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame, the National Football Foundation said today.
McKay coached Southern Cal to three national championships and a 127-40-8 record from 1960 to 1975. His teams won national titles in 1962, 1967 and 1972. He will be among a group of players and coaches to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the foundation’s awards banquet Dec. 6.
