Middleton to Transfer to Chapman

Rog Middleton, a 6-foot 4-inch forward, has accepted a scholarship to attend Chapman College starting this spring semester.

Middleton, a 1987 graduate of Tustin High School, signed with the University of Utah and was redshirting there until he left at the end of the fall semester. He will not be eligible to play for Chapman until January 1989.

At Tustin, he averaged 23 points and 10 rebounds a game as a senior and was named to the first team all-Southern Section, honorable mention McDonald’s all-American and honorable mention Street and Smith’s all-American teams.
