A 19-year-old man was stabbed and seriously wounded Sunday following an argument with another man in a residence, authorities said.
Fidel Tovar, whose address had not been determined, was listed in stable condition at St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton after the 11:45 a.m. incident at a house in the 100 block of East Valencia Drive, police and hospital officials said.
Tovar was stabbed once in the left lung following “a home-type fight” with an acquaintance, according to Sgt. Glenn Deveney.
The alleged assailant, who fled the residence, was still being sought late Sunday, Deveney said.
He added that investigators had not yet determined whether either Tovar or his assailant lived at the house, which is home to about eight people.
