Armenian College Gets $60,000 Donation

LA VERNE — American Armenian International College has received a $60,000 donation from Alex Manoogian, a life member of the board of trustees, to expand academic programs.
Garbis Der Yeghiayan, president of the college, said Manoogian has been the school’s major “benefactor, leader and humanitarian.” His several donations have helped educate 200 graduates who are now serving the Armenian community, the president said.
