- The curtain came down Sunday night on the Fiesta Dinner Theatre, but not before a drawing for the 1-millionth patron made Alan Matsushima of La Mesa $1,000 richer. Fiesta fans have been signing up for this lottery throughout the run of “Angel on My Shoulder.”

“On Jan. 15, we open as a restaurant,” said theater manager Donna Schultz, “and every Friday and Saturday, we’ll have (ballroom) dancing as well. You know, people kept asking us to put dancing (in the restaurant) because there’s no place to go around here--except for country dancing and rock ‘n’ roll. There’s a real need for another place for ballroom dancing, so here we are.”
