Moorpark Women Win Consolation Title
Karina Hardman scored a game-high 22 points to lead Moorpark College to a 64-50 victory over North Dakota-Wilmington for the consolation championship of the Scottsdale women’s basketball tournament in Arizona on Wednesday night.
Hardman, who has scored more than 20 points in seven consecutive games, was named to the all-tournament team. She was the tournament’s second-leading scorer.
Carol Kellick scored 18 points and had 11 rebounds and Michele Brown added 18 points for Moorpark (8-9).
