Dutch brewing magnate Freddy Heineken’s villa in Cap d’Antibes off the coast of France was broken into Sunday night and several valuable paintings and engravings were stolen, Antibes police said on Tuesday, adding that a full inventory is being undertaken. Heineken was not in residence at the time of the burglary. Police said it was a mystery how the thieves managed to neutralize the complex security system protecting the luxury villa.
