Boys Club Bodyguard Sentenced
A bodyguard for the Billionaire Boys Club, who earlier had pleaded guilty to being an accessory to the murder of a Beverly Hills con man, was sentenced today after a Superior Court judge in Santa Monica refused to allow him to withdraw his plea.
James Pittman, 34, was sentenced by Judge James Albracht to three years in state prison. However, because he has already been in custody for more than three years, he will not have to serve any more time for his role in the June, 1984, murder of Ron Levin. Pittman is awaiting trial on murder charges in Northern California.
