A 64-year-old Pacoima man was found beaten to death Wednesday on the street outside his home, authorities said.
Lt. Bernard D. Conine said police were called to the 10500 block of Lehigh Avenue when neighbors reported hearing shouts and a disturbance at the victim’s home about 8:25 a.m.
Officers found the man, whose name was not released pending notification of his family, unconscious on the street, suffering from several wounds on the head and upper torso. He was transported to Pacifica Hospital in Sun Valley, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Conine said investigators had no suspects in the case and the motive for the fatal beating was unknown.
