Johnson Scores 36 in Portland Win

PORTLAND, Ore. — Steve Johnson scored a season-high 36 points and Clyde Drexler added 31 as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Indiana Pacers, 120-110, in an NBA game Sunday night.
Indiana, shooting 65% from the field, led, 73-69, at halftime despite Johnson’s 27 points. But the Pacers scored only 37 points in the second half to let Portland to come back.
The Trail Blazers outscored the Pacers, 13-4, in the last five minutes of the third period for a 94-91 lead. Johnson tied it at 89-89 before Drexler’s rebound basket put Portland ahead for the first time since the first quarter. Chuck Person of Indiana made it 91-91, and Johnson hit a free throw and layup to put the Blazers ahead to stay.
