Sheldahl has suspended negotiations for the sale of its subsidiary, Irvine-based Symbolic Displays, to Transicoil. Sheldahl announced last month that it had agreed in principle to sell Symbolic Displays to Transicoil, a firm with headquarters in Worcester, Pa. Sheldahl, based in Northfield, Minn., said it is holding discussions with other potential buyers for Symbolic Displays. No reason was given on whay talks with Transicoil were suspended.
