Sammon Scores 15 to Lead Cypress
Jim Sammon scored a game-high 15 points to lead Cypress College to an 83-49 season-opening victory over San Bernardino in the first round of the Fullerton College men’s basketball tournament Thursday.
Charles Caldwell and Karl Becker came off the bench to score 13 each for Cypress, which led, 41-17, at the half.
