Northview Corp. reported a $2.1-million net loss and revenue that rose by 4% to $11.7 million for the third quarter. The San Diego-based operator of the Vagabond Hotel chain reported a $1.8-million net loss and $11.2 million in revenue during the third quarter of the previous year.
Northview reported a $5.6-million net loss for the nine-month period, contrasted with $2.6-million net profit for the nine-month period in 1986. Revenue for the nine-month period remained flat at $31.5 million.
Los Angeles-based Calmark Holding Corp. on Nov. 3 agreed to make a $22-per-share, or $60-million, tender offer for Northview’s 1.4 million outstanding shares.
