Local News in Brief : RTD Reroutes Buses
To accommodate Metro Rail construction, the 21 RTD bus lines that go through the intersection of 1st and Hill streets downtown are being rerouted on weekends and selected weekdays, officials announced.
The detouring began Friday, and will continue through Jan. 11. In addition, Hill Street will be closed to through traffic between Temple and 2nd streets, and 1st Street will be shut down between Olive Street and Broadway. Specific information about closure dates is available from the RTD’s downtown hot line (1-800-852-9994).
