Local News in Brief : Sun Valley Woman Dies After Beating
Los Angeles police were seeking clues Thursday to the assailant of a Sun Valley woman who died Thursday after being found badly beaten by the side of a railroad track along San Fernando Road.
Police said Linda Loza, 36, died at Pacific Hospital of the Valley in Sun Valley at 5:30 a.m., about 24 hours after she was found beaten unconscious in the 8300 block of San Fernando Road.
Police said they had found no witnesses to the assault, that they knew no motive and had not identified a suspect.
