L.A. Baptist 20, Marshall Fundamental 10--Lee Szabo recovered two fumbles and blocked a punt to set up one of his three touchdown runs to lead L. A. Baptist in the Alpha League game at Monroe High.
L. A. Baptist (4-2, 1-1 in league play) took a 13-3 lead in the second quarter when Szabo ran 12 yards for a score three plays after blocking a punt at the Marshall 12.
Szabo, who gained 156 yards on 19 carries, added a four-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Teammate Cliff Robinson rushed for 174 yards on 17 carries.
