Albert J. Tortorella has been named executive vice president, Western region manager, of Burson-Marsteller, the world’s largest public relations firm. Tortorella, 45, previously executive vice president and director of corporate relations, will oversee the firm’s operations in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Tortorella advised Johnson & Johnson during the Tylenol incident and Union Carbide in the aftermath of the Bhopal, India, disaster.
