A Close Shave With Nature: 6.1 Earthquake Rattles Southland
The earthquake taught me that I would lose weight if the electricity and gas were off and the grocery stores were closed for a few days.
I am thankful the water was on, but cold showers are cruel even when the temperature is 100 degrees. I made sun tea. It was a blessing that the telephone didn’t ring for a few hours.
