CAR Convenes in San Diego
More than 2,100 realtors will convene in San Diego today for the California Assn. of Realtors’ 83rd annual convention at the Sheraton Harbor Island Hotel.
New disclosure requirements, tax reform and the 1988 economic outlook will be among the major topics of discussion at the convention, which ends Wednesday.
More than 100 exhibitors will take part in the convention’s trade show, featuring new computer hardware and software, marketing tools, and other products and services. The public can tour the exhibition floor for a $10 fee.
The realtors will also vote for a slate of statewide officers. Dale Colby, a broker from Glendora, has already been elected 1988 CAR president. He will succeed San Jose broker Jack Paulson on Jan. 1.
