A 17-year-old Yuba City girl saved herself from being raped in a dark city park by telling her masked attacker that she had AIDS, police reported. The girl, whose name was withheld, told officers that the man approached her from behind and ordered her to walk into the bushes without looking around. When she did not comply, he punched her. At that point, she lied to her attacker, telling him, “I’ve got AIDS.†He then fled, police said. The girl said the man was in his early 30s, had a mustache and wore a nylon stocking on his head.
