Prices farmers received for raw products in September rose 1.6%, recovering more than half their losses of July and August, the Agriculture Department reported. The gain followed a 2.3% drop in July and a revised decline of 0.8% in August after rising for six consecutive months earlier this year. The preliminary September average was up 5.7% from a year ago.
