Been to Copala
It was a pleasure to see Jerry Hulse’s excellent coverage of our little village of Copala, Mexico. My wife and I have a 400-year-old adobe house in Copala and have lived there for almost 14 years. A charming place, wonderful people, and as I am a retired Los Angeles police officer it is so nice to find a place where the only one called a “pig” is a pig. I have just completed renovating the old Lopez Portillo family home and have it available to a discerning buyer who would fit in our fascinating town--no wimps in Copala! Come visit, but don’t bring too many people.
