The firm of Collins/Steichen/Fields Inc. of Anaheim has been chosen by the City of Santa Ana to design and manage construction of the new Southwest Senior Citizen Center, which will be built on the Corbin Community Center at McFadden Avenue and Center Street.
The $1.2-million, 11,400-square-foot facility, to be funded by three state and federal grants, will serve up to 350 minority/ethnic seniors. Southwest Santa Ana is presently home to more than 10,000 senior citizens of diverse ethnic groups with low- or poverty-level incomes.
