Colton’s Faria Wins at Speedway Races

Mike Faria of Colton won the four-lap scratch main event of the final round of qualifying for the United States Speedway motorcycle championships Friday night at the Orange County Fairgrounds in front of 3,581 spectators.

Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa was second, Bob Ott of Newport Beach third and Brad Oxley of San Clemente fourth.
