No. 5 UCLA Beats Cal in Volleyball to Win Tournament
UCLA defeated Cal, 15-1, 15-11, in the championship match of the All-Cal women’s volleyball tournament Tuesday in the Bren Center at UC Irvine.
The Bruins, 3-0 and ranked fifth in the nation, were led by Lori Zeno’s 10 kills in the title match.
In earlier play, UCLA defeated UC Santa Barbara (15-6, 15-4), UC Davis (15-4, 15-6), UC Riverside (15-0, 15-5) and Irvine (15-3, 15-11).
Santa Barbara defeated Irvine (15-6, 15-9) for third place, and UC San Diego defeated Riverside (15-12, 15-12) for fifth.
