Formal charges were filed against 133 South Korean workers accused of violent acts during recent labor unrest, police said. Those facing indictment included 123 workers accused of arson and assault in connection with strike protests at Daewoo Motor Co. in Inchon and at Hyundai Heavy Industries, the country’s largest shipyard, in Ulsan. Meantime, at least 10 taxi drivers were arrested on various charges as more than 10,000 drivers remained on strike for a sixth day in Seoul.
