Swiss Hotel Honeymoon

My wife and I want to thank Jerry Hulse for his Swiss Alps article of Jan. 18. Because of his article my wife and I were married in Switzerland in June. We spent part of our honeymoon at the magnificent Grandhotel Giessbach in Brienz. Our stay at the Giessbach was a fairy-tale adventure. Each day was a romantic fantasy.

We will never forget one rainy night in particular. We were sitting in the magnificent lobby, feeling the warmth flowing from a huge crackling fire, listening to the romantic piano music filling the room with love. We danced the evening away in our stocking feet upon a magic Oriental carpet beneath a shimmering crystal chandelier.

As you can see, Jerry’s article gave my wife and me the inspiration for a fantastically happy beginning to our marriage, and we sincerely thank him.
