The additional $50 fee for the plate would go to help raise money for California Arts Council projects. A 7-3 vote sent the bill to the Senate floor.
Parental Consent: The Appropriations Committee voted to delay action on a bill (AB 2274) by Assemblyman Robert Frazee (R-Carlsbad) to require a pregnant minor female to receive parental consent or obtain a court order before having an abortion.
