KaiserTech Ltd. has purchased Chevron Corp.’s 50% interest in the Harshaw/Filtrol Partnership, giving KaiserTech full control of the partnership. The price was not disclosed. KaiserTech had announced on July 1 its intention to make the purchase. Subsequently, the corporation announced that it was seeking buyers for all or part of its industrial and specialty chemicals businesses, including Harshaw/Filtrol. “It makes sound business sense, as we seek buyers for our chemicals assets, to have full control of Harshaw/Filtrol,” KaiserTech said. Harshaw/Filtrol is a specialty chemicals and high-technology company in Cleveland.
