Delta Air Lines has reached agreement with its pilots, completing the last step in the process of integrating operations following its merger with Western Air Lines on April 17. The tentative agreement provides for phasing former Western Air Lines pilots into the Delta pilot benefits and salary scale on essentially the same basis as has been done for non-contract personnel. The merger means that, as of Dec. 15, Delta will add a Salt Lake City hub and an increased presence in Los Angeles.
