Rob de Castella of Australia, one of the world’s top marathoners, returned to the track after a seven-month absence and finished third in a 5,000-meter race at an international track and field meet in Stockholm. De Castella was clocked in 13 minutes 47.58 seconds, well behind winner Jonny Danielsson of Sweden, who was timed in 13:34.44. American Ray Wicksell was second in 13:36.32.
