Court OKs Extradition of 2 Guerrilla Suspects
VERSAILLES, France — A French appeals court ruled Thursday in favor of the extradition to Italy of two suspected members of the Red Brigades guerrilla group.
Paolo Ceriani Sebregondi and Paola de Luca were detained on May 19 at their home in the northern Paris suburb of Asnieres after an international warrant had been issued for their arrest.
Sebregondi has been sentenced twice in Italy in his absence, to life imprisonment for murder and to 12 years for armed robbery and complicity to murder. He denies being a member of the extreme-left Red Brigades.
