TV Sportscaster to Chair Golf Classic
WHITTIER — Ted Dawson, who anchors the weekday editions of KABC-TV’s “Eyewitness Sports,†has been named honorary chairman of the Cerritos College Foundation Golf Classic to be held Aug. 31 at the Candlewood Country Club in Whittier. The shotgun start is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Dawson will play in the tournament and be the guest speaker at an awards dinner immediately following the classic.
The cost per golfer, which includes green fees, cart, tee prizes, on-course beverages, lunch, steak dinner, door prizes and awards is $100.
