Strings Lose to Racquets, Drop to 0-4

The Strings and Lisa Bonder remained winless this season as Los Angeles lost a TeamTennis match to the San Antonio Racquets, 28-21, Thursday night at the Forum before an announced crowd of 835.
It was the Strings’ fourth straight defeat, while Bonder’s losses in singles and doubles left her 0-3 in singles and 0-4 in doubles with partner Anne White.
The Racquets (4-1) are leading the league.
In singles, Bonder lost to Gretchen Rush-Magers, 6-4, and, in doubles, Rush-Magers and Anne Smith won, 6-2.
