Foley Named to Coach Football at Buena Park
Rick Foley, a three-year varsity assistant football coach at Buena Park High School, was named the school’s head coach, Shirley Finton, public information official for the Fullerton Union High School District, announced Monday.
Foley replaces Mike Barron, who resigned last month to become the head coach at Santiago High. Buena Park was 1-9 last season and 0-5 in the Freeway League.
Foley, a graduate of Esperanza High and Cal State Fullerton, has been the track coach at Buena Park the past three seasons.
