Five Cuban refugees, including two wearing military fatigues, were rescued from a homemade rubber raft drifting off the Florida Keys, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. One of the uniformed men identified himself as a Cuban naval petty officer, and the other as a reserve naval officer, officials said. The five males were taken to the Coast Guard station at Marathon, about 70 miles south of Miami, for interviews with immigration officials and were to move later to a detention center, officials said.
