The Controversy Over Pit Bulls
Far too many people today have dogs who absolutely know nothing about them. The dogs are an object (or fixture) to be placed in the backyard. The dog is not a family pet, it’s there to protect the almighty dollar.
We domesticated the dog to be a household loving pet to be enjoyed, a commitment to last hopefully 14 or 15 years. We now have a vicious, lonely and neglected animal in hundreds of backyards. Some of these people would be far better off installing an alarm system which would take a minimum of care, and perhaps be less expensive and less bothersome in the long run.
