The product Nutrimmune has been temporarily withdrawn from store shelves because of a lawsuit filed by the Orange County district attorney’s office against the manufacturer of the “food supplement” marketed in homosexual publications to strengthen the body’s immune system. Advertisements for Nutrimmune imply that the product will help fight AIDS, according to a spokesman for the state Department of Health Services. The suit claims that Great Earth Distribution Inc., which markets Nutrimmune, had been distributing nine different products with inflated or misleading health claims.
