Boys Markets Inc., the Los Angeles-based regional supermarket chain, said second-quarter earnings rose 18.2% on a 9% increase in revenue. Net income increased to $2.3 million and revenue was a record $120 million. The store attributed the increases to the opening of four new stores this year.
