Marlon Starling agreed to fight Mark Breland, World Boxing Assn. welterweight champion, in Columbia, S.C., Aug. 22. Breland was to fight the WBA’s top-ranked contender, Tommy Ayers, but Ayers lost to Rollin Williams June 30.
