A Tulare man was killed when his modified all-terrain cycle overturned on him while he was doing “wheelies” at Pismo Beach, authorities reported. A 3/4-inch-long piece of metal pierced the chest of Lloyd Sanders, 33, San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Sgt. Greg Slane said.
