Local News in Brief : Body of Slain Man, 25, Found in Pacoima Bin

A 25-year-old reputed gang member was found shot to death in a trash bin outside a Pacoima apartment complex Monday, police said.
Police were called to the 12000 block of Filmore Street about 6:30 a.m., where residents had found the body of Norris Laverne Hooper riddled with bullet wounds, said Los Angeles Police Lt. Bernard D. Conine.
Police have no suspects in the killing, Conine said, but believe that the murder may have been drug-related.
