Who said live radio was dead? Ed Asner, Richard Dreyfuss, John Lithgow, Marsha Mason, Judge Reinhold and Harry Hamlin are among the stars who will appear in the L.A. Classic Theatre Works live radio simulcast of “Once in a Lifetime,” set to hit the airwaves at 7 p.m. on July 26 from the Culver Studios sound stages in Culver City. The classic Hollywood spoof--penned by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart--will air on KCRW-FM. Tickets are $250 for this benefit performance and a gala, which features live ‘20s and ‘30s music after the show. A limited number of tickets are also available for $50. Acting honorary chairman for the event is Lily Tomlin. Also appearing in the show are Amy Irving, Jobeth Williams, Ally Sheedy, Rene Auberjonois and Fionnula Flanagan.
