Charles Kuralt ended his “Twenty Years on the Road” special by saying that the road never ends, and I certainly hope that remains true. What a marvelous, warm and touching program it was. Kuralt is an unassuming, down-to-earth commentator who should be praised for his appealing work. Incidentally, I think Kuralt’s “Sunday Morning” series is one of the best, and most overlooked, programs on all commercial television.
